2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

“IF” is a big word in 2 Chronicles 7:14 upon which all that is good and bad hinge for all time and eternity. IF we humble ourselves, IF we pray, IF we seek God’s face, IF we turn from our wicked ways – THEN – God will hear from heaven, forgive our sin and heal our land…and boy is our land in desperate need of healing, wouldn’t you say? 

When Solomon spoke these words he was dedicating the Temple, but he knew that the day would come when his country would stray away from God, and when they found themselves far away, God poses this promise, which is also a challenge. 

You would figure that the message to change the world for better would be for the world to change its evil ways, and yes that must come, but God sends a message to HIS PEOPLE that we will be the key to victory…in all humility.
