Psalm 45:4 (NLT) “In Your majesty, ride out to victory, defending truth, humility, and justice. Go forth to perform awe-inspiring deeds!”

Psalm 45 points to Jesus. Can you picture Him riding out to victory? Did you know that Jesus came teaching and defending truth…and He did so in humility? He performed awe-inspiring deeds, but He even did those in a humble fashion.

Ultimately Jesus humbly died on a cross for the forgiveness of our sins and the salvation of the world. (Philippians 2:8)

Pride was not His point of progress, humility was the key to victory…it’s ours as well.
