Isaiah 2:12 (NIV) “The Lord Almighty has a day in store for all the proud and lofty, for all that is exalted (and they will be humbled).”

Jesus came to the earth as a helpless baby and lived a life of humility as an example for His followers to emulate.  On the day of the Lord, He will return as the Lord of all the armies.  

As society continues to rebel and move farther away from God, it’s clear to see that its driving force is pride.  People should understand that God is bound by His Word to bring down all who have lifted themselves up.  His Word is a warning for all to humble themselves before our God before it’s too late.  We can either humble ourselves by surrendering to Jesus or be humbled by force, the choice is ours.
