Isaiah 2:11 (NIV) “The eyes of the arrogant will be humbled and human pride brought low; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.“

We are on day 15 of our June Humility campaign. I think by now; we get the message. God wants us to put away pride and take on humility. 

Isaiah 2:11 is a reminder, one day those who display pride with their eyes, ultimately are mirroring what’s in their heart. They will be humbled one day.

This verse is a prophecy about the future judgment of God upon the pride and arrogance of humanity. It speaks of a time when God will humble the prideful and exalt Himself as the only true God. The verse emphasizes the importance of humility and warns against the dangers of pride and arrogance. 

I pray you’d know that this endeavor to focus on humility isn’t a “We are right, and they are wrong,” thing. It’s a declaration that we are all wrong. We all need Jesus! We all need to humble ourselves before God. If you haven’t already done that, I pray you’d do so today and find freedom, forgiveness, and everlasting life.
