2 Chronicles 32:26 (NKJV) “Then Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the Lord did not come upon them in the days of Hezekiah.”

The judgment of God was on its way. Most would think it’s too late to change that fate. But our God is a gracious God, a merciful God, and only He knows when the last line is crossed.

When Hezekiah the king, humbled himself, the people followed his lead, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem humbled themselves as well. If you’re a leader, I pray you’d know you’re called to lead the people in humility before God!!!

The Lord noticed that they turned from the PRIDE of their hearts; therefore judgement was averted.

May we do the same. It’s spiritual insanity to think that we can set an entire month aside for pride, and not suffer the consequences!
