Micah 6:8 (NKJV) “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk HUMBLY with your God.”
In the beginning, Adam and Eve walked with God in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:8). Tragically sin entered the world when they ate of the forbidden fruit, and radically altered that fellowship with God.
Today, although much different than the days of the Garden, a walk with God is still possible (Genesis 5:22, 24). Micah 6:8 reveals certain requirements, and one of those requirements is to walk HUMBLY with our God.
What does that mean? How do we walk “humbly”? And why is humility so important?
It will take some time to answer these questions. Consider taking the next 30-Days to learn about walking with God in humility, what is it, and how can we cultivate that heart? For now just know it’s something God has shown us, and by His grace called us to do.
